Starting from September 1st, 2025, it will be possible to self-deploy the AKS-based applications ICM (11+), IOM, and PWA to production. Previously, this was only possible before going live. As part of the go-live procedure, self-deployments to PRD were disabled, meaning production deployments had to be performed exclusively by OPS engineers.
Moving forward, automatic deployments to production will not be disabled by default during the go-live process. It is now possible to request self-deployment privileges for live systems via a Customer Service Portal ticket. As long as certain deployment guidelines are observed, e.g., testing releases on non-production and following certain restrictions in deployment times, developers are allowed to trigger production deployments.

Update (September 15th, 2025): PWA and IOM self-deployments for ICM 7.10 systems will be introduced, too, starting October 1st, 2025.
