After January 1, 2004 Intershop will no longer sell Enfinity Content Management 1.1 or 1.2 to new customers or allow its partners to order or resell this version in the Intershop product portfolio. This article presents a list of frequently asked questions concerning the End of Life phase Enfinity Content Management 1.1 and 1.2 entered January 1, 2004.

What is happening to Enfinity Content Management 1.1 and 1.2?

Intershop is discontinuing Enfinity Content Management 1.1 and 1.2 and related cartridges, primarily because of its strong newer versions addressing the same and more customer needs. This is called an End of Life for the Enfinity Content Management 1.1/1.2 product, effective January 1, 2004.

When will this take effect?

As of close of business January 1, 2004, Intershop will no longer sell Enfinity Content Management 1.1 or 1.2. Also, Intershop will no longer provide Patches for Enfinity Content Management 1.1 or 1.2. Intershop will continue support of Enfinity Content Management 1.1 and 1.2 until December 31, 2005.

In order to transition to the appropriate successor, Intershop Services offers a migration package. For detailed information please contact your sales representative.

What is an appropriate successor product?

The recommended successor product for Enfinity Content Management 1.1/1.2 is Enfinity Content Management 1.3.
