After January 1, 2004 Intershop will no longer sell the Supplier Solution 2.1 or 2.2 to new customers or allow its partners to order or resell this version in the Intershop product portfolio. This article presents a list of frequently asked questions concerning the End of Life phase Intershop Supplier Solution 2.1 and 2.2 entered January 1, 2004.
## What is happening to Enfinity Supplier Solution 2.1/2.2?
Intershop is discontinuing Supplier Solution 2.1 and 2.2 and related cartridges, primarily because of its strong newer versions addressing the same and more customer needs. This is called an End of Life for the Supplier Solution 2.1/2.2 product, effective January 1, 2004.
## When will this take effect?
As of close of business January 1, 2004, Intershop will no longer sell Enfinity Supplier Solution 2.1 or 2.2. Also, Intershop will no longer provide Patches for Enfinity Supplier Solution 2.1 or 2.2. Intershop will continue support of Intershop Supplier Solution 2.1 and 2.2 until December 31, 2005..
## How do I upgrade? What will it cost?
In order to transition to the appropriate successor, Intershop Services offers a migration package. For detailed information please contact your sales representative.
## What is an appropriate successor product?
The recommended successor product for Supplier Solution 2.1/2.2 is Enfinity Procurement 4.1.
