System Requirements - Intershop Commerce Management B2C/B2X 7.10

The system requirements shall be considered as minimum requirements. Depending on your system environment and further parameters, e.g., system load, other requirements may apply. Please contact Intershop and request an appropriate sizing of your production environment.

This document is valid from Intershop 7.10.6.0. For previous 7.10 versions, refer to System Requirements - Intershop Commerce Management B2C/B2X 7.10 (valid to 7.10.5.0).

Specific System Requirements for Virtual Environments

Virtualization

If running Intershop Commerce Management 7 in a virtualized operating environment, make sure that the virtual machine and the operating system meet the requirements as specified above.
Running Intershop Commerce Management 7 in a virtualized environment requires a sizing.

Virtualization does not include the Oracle database. Follow Oracle's recommendations for their server installations.

If Intershop Commerce Management 7 is running in a virtualized environment, a performance loss may be experienced due to virtualization.

Use NFS for IS_SHARE under Linux systems and CIFS for Windows.
All application server machines of the Intershop 7 cluster (including IS_SHARE) must use the same operating system. Mixed systems are not supported.
