Introduction
Scale prices with quantities can have a quantity unit. They are not evaluated or displayed in the storefront/REST.
In the past quantity units of scale price quantities could be imported with the PriceList
import but were never displayed in Intershop Commerce Management. Imports with the same quantity but different quantity units led to duplicate entries. Furthermore, any manual change of prices caused a deletion of the quantity units of all prices within the edited PriceScaleTable
.
API Changes
Back Office:
Now the quantity unit is displayed in Intershop Commerce Management back office and can also be maintained there. So it is possible to see entries with different quantity units. Such entries are marked with a warning sign in the back office.
Storefront:
In case different quantity units are being used within a price scale table, the prices will only be displayed correctly for the first quantity unit (alphabetical order). All prices with deviating quantity units will be ignored.
Migration
In the previous releases (7.10.36.1, 7.10.32.7-LTS and 7.10.26.18-LTS), the PriceList
import has been adapted so that the quantity units were ignored. Since this caused problems with partial price list imports, the original behavior was restored.
In case of data inconsistencies (entries with different quantity units), a complete price list import is recommended. In Intershop Commerce Management, you can identify data inconsistencies with regard to the quantity unit by the warning symbol in the list view of the price list or the detail view in the back office.
