Introduction

The function val()returns the numbers contained in a string in floating point representation. If the string contains non-numeric characters, a zero is returned.

Syntax

val( <Source String Operation> )

Example

The following example returns the value -2.20:

<ISPRINT value = "#val('-3.2') + 1#">
