This public release note contains information about the latest features of the Intershop Progressive Web App. In addition, it serves as a quick reference for the latest documentation.

Breaking Changes
Hybrid Approach: To address token handling issues that occurred in Hybrid Approach scenarios, the
loadUserByAPITokenaction was changed to require apayloadobject with an optionalapiTokenas parameter (see Migrations / From 7.1.0 to 8.0.0 for more details).Updated content projection selectors of
InPlaceEditComponentfrom CSS classes to HTML attributes for better semantic clarity (see Migrations / From 7.1.0 to 8.0.0 for more details).The cost center management enhancements require ICM 13.1.0 or newer that provides the new Cost Center REST API 2.0.0 that supports paging and search (see Migrations / From 7.1.0 to 8.0.0 for more details).
The order history listing enhancements require ICM 13.1.0 or newer that provides the extended Order REST API 1.8.0 that returns the needed paging info (see Migrations / From 7.1.0 to 8.0.0 for more details).
NGINX The OpenResty/NGINX image was updated to version 1.27.1.2. It includes the fixed LuaRocks package manager (version 3.12.0) so the
lua-resty-redis-connectorinstallation withluarockswas re-enabled.The Intershop PWA now uses Node.js 22.17.1 LTS with the corresponding npm version 10.9.2 (see Migrations / From 7.1.0 to 8.0.0 for more details).
REMOVED: The Sentry client-side error monitoring integration was removed.
REMOVED: The Tacton product configuration integration was removed.
